ABOUT THE FOUNDER

My work is rooted in the belief that self-expression is medicine and movement is transformative. Hi, I’m Brandie. I’m a therapist, creative, dog mom, writer, and nature lover. I love nature walks, pen and paper, visual storytelling, a good stretch, and car concerts. Most of all, I love hearing the stories that have shaped other women, and the ones they’re creating now. My journey with creativity started with doodling in my grandmother’s living room. I didn’t know then how much that love for turning ordinary things into something meaningful would shape my life and my work. My career has walked alongside women through their becoming, from adolescence to motherhood. Today, Mind Makeover Therapy is a practice for high-functioning women living in survival mode. My work follows a familiar thread. The “mature” child who becomes the independent woman. The strong woman. The one everyone counts on, who is still learning what it feels like to be supported herself. For her, burnout doesn’t look like failing. It looks like functioning without feeling. These women are learning to use their gifts without letting what they give become the measure of their worth. They are coming home to themselves, their purpose, and whatever helps them feel whole in mind, body, and spirit.
